Samara is situated in the southeastern part of European Russia on the east bank of the Volga. Sightseeing points of the city and magnificent buildings (Samara’s architecture encompasses a wide range of architectural styles from the Russian nobility to the present day) reflect ­its rich history.
The city was a home for famous authors, painters and poets and is a сenter of Space industry
of Russian Federation. There are different religious places in the city: Catholic church, Protestant church, Jewish synagogue.

Day 1

 

 

Till 8 p.m.

Flight to Samara. Meeting at the airport. Hotel check-in. 

Samara City Tour.

Tasting of Russian blini (pancakes).

During the tour you will visit Square of Glory, the quenchless flame, high relief “Mother Motherland in sorrow”, the Kuibyshov Square (named after prominent figure of the communist party V. Kuibyshev) that is considered to be the largest square in Europe, which in 1941 under the command of K. Voroshilov soldiers leaved for front ­and green oases of the city: Botanic Garden, Strukov’s Garden.  

Walking along merchant streets in the historical center of the city, you will see residents of rich merchants and noblemen; soak yourself in the history of peoples of Samara Region.

Traditional Russian Dinner

 

Day 2

 

 

Till 8 p.m.

Visiting Space Museum, Stalin’s safe room, the longest quay in Russia.

Tasting of Microbrew beer ­­­- famous Zhigulevskoe with vobla (fish) - in a brewery.

 

8 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Dinner

Bowling. Disco (as an option).

The restaurant “Staraya Kvartira (The Old Flat)”

Day 3

 

 

Till 8 p.m.

Visiting year-round sanatorium-type children’s camp. Communication with children.

Round table with Camp Directors. Camp Lunch. Master-class in making souvenirs.

Orthodox Church built without a single iron nail.

Visiting the Holy New Martyrs and Confessors Russian Orthodox church of village Pribrezhnoe, blessed by the archbishop of Samara and Syzran.

The church was built with respect for the old traditions of Russian architects of the timber without
a single iron nail. This unique wooden structure is the most wonderful building in the Samara Region.

8 p.m.

Evening around the fire. Barbecue.

 

Day 4

Check-out. Тransfer to the airport. Flight to Sochi.
